Overview

This is the route that taught us our trade. From the wide boulevards of Tashkent to the apple streets of Almaty — the road we walk ourselves, the one we send our parents on, the one we choose for friends who have read about Central Asia for years and finally come. Twenty-three days, three borders, four countries woven together not as a checklist but as a single road that has carried silk, scholars and song for two thousand years. Three nights deep in the Tajik mountains, two nights under felt on the shores and pastures of Issyk-Kul — because a country is not a country until you have slept inside its weather. Private, on your dates, with a senior local guide in each of the four countries.

Who this journey is not for

This is not the trip for people who need every night to look the same. Across twenty-three days you sleep in merchant houses, our own hotel in Samarkand, mountain guesthouses, and two nights in yurts — because a country is not a country until you have slept inside its weather. If identical rooms matter more than that sentence, choose a shorter route. If that sentence gave you a shiver, this is the road.
